  Rogue night at Mato in Hong Kong. P&P with friends.
  
  Contrary to some of the other notes here, this bottle was in perfect condition and still kicking strong. Great freshness and fruit, very structured and bold body yet supported by a strong line of acidity that balanced things throughout. Over-delivered compared to expectations and was the wine to kick off the line-up.

  20230117 DDM Rioja & Ribera del Duero: Bruinrood, flink depot. Kers, bosgrond, kokos, rozebottel en laurier in de neus. In de smaak kers, mooi vanille, rozebottel, gelaagd, koffie, mokka chocola.

  Deep red. Hint of leather and pencil on the nose. Smooth at start, fresh berries (surprise for a 23 year old). Really fresh and long aftertaste. The freshness and high acidity is really special.
