Nose: blueberry, oxidized blackberries, cocoa, earth and dried flowers. Palate: Smooth and light bodied, reticent black fruit; very nice finish of mild cured/smoked meat, faint cocoa and wet wood. Probably at the end of its window, but surprisingly still going strong (it's drinking window might be longer than the 2016 suggested on CellarTracker).

Crushed velvet, library leather, cigar box, and dusty cherry on the nose. Nothing shaking in the mouth, however. Muted, fading red fruit, hollow in the middle with a short watery finish. Quaffable on a weeknight but nothing more.

Long decant here, not that its needed. A well made wine drinking very nicely now but that is about it, more name that substance. Earthy, well evolved and well round. would have like to have seen more depth of flavor and more vitality. Still a good wine. 89-90

Nice if unspectacular bottle. Needed some coaxing on the nose to reveal raspberry, charcoal and leather. Stewed black cherries with a dark green resin finish. Quiet, unassuming but perfectly acceptable if you like the type. Drink now. Paired with roasted chicken with shallots and garlic.

Dark red in colour, rich nose of perfumy sweet mineral fruits, silky smooth palate, drinking beautifully at the moment!
