Bordeaux 2004 (@ Bottles; Sas van Gent, Netherlands): Beautiful bouquet with well integrated oak and good fruits. On the palate the same with fine fresh citrus and some butter and pleasant bitterness in the finish.

Bordeaux 2004 - an overview (Restaurant Bottles, Sas van Gent): Unfortunately this wasn't an 04 bottling, so a there was no proper comparison. But this wine was clearly the best of 3 white Bords today. Spicy, candied fruit, very good balance and persistence throughout the finish. Okay, this wine also got a big log of oak to manage, but flavors are pure, tasty, juicy and not muddled by any oxidation (yet). Firm body, good length. Very tasty juice. 17.5-18/20

Light gold. Medium bodied. Nice mix of pineapple, vanilla, honey, and citrus. Deft, limited use of oak here. A very versatile wine with no shortage of uses at the table. Delicious and interesting, too.

Poured a light straw yellow, nose of tropical and light fruit. Palate light to medium bodied with notes of lemon, tangerine, honey and vanilla nice fleshy mouthfeel and decent length to the finish. Enjoyed alongside crab cakes, chilean sea bass, and jumbo shrimp scampi. Held up to the food and the garlic nicely.

Nice! medium bodied with nicely integrated acidity. Can really taste all three diffrent varitals, especially sauvignon blanc, and muscadelle. Nicely Balanced, minnerals, and stone fruit tropical calm.
