- Yellow color with slow forming legs. It's unbalanced with a light/medium body. Round texture with a short finish - Probably drank too late. Still buttery, but a bit bitter. It got better letting it open up for 20 minutes to an Oak Chard.

An Old School big, buttery, oaky CA chardonnay, that's a bit flabby and unbalanced in my book. Melon and pear fruit, with low acidity and medium length finish that may appeal to those who like this style.

A good Chardonnay, as is to be expected from Patz & Hall. A balance between rich and buttery, on one hand, and zezty-fruity, on the other. But not, I must admit, my favourite. Not sure it's quite worth the money. Very good to excellent (87.5).

A nice fusion of Californian and French styles with a ripe, concentrated nose of butter and yellow apples. On the palate this is round, plush, and almost indescribably soft, with a gentle acidity.

Nice white fruit, pear, melon with buttery oak, nice finish. A little out of balance but not a bad chard. Probably not worth $35 though.
