  Unfortunately the cork sunken in after the coil was cut. Seem like there sign of leaking. The ullage is still ok, probably 5-7cm from the cork. Not optimistic and I was right. The nose has lost all its fruits flavour. Initially it was still musky, after aerating in the decanter, slight sweet fruits appear, tea, spices, mint. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Medium finish. Feeling disappointed.

  1994, Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Burgund, Frankreich. Helles, reifes Rubin. Tiefgründige Nase, ein feiner Duft, rote Kirsche, Johannisbeere, Kräuter, Gräser, Granatapfel, mit mehr Luft auch Dörrfrüchte, Nüsse, Leder, spannend. Der Gaumen ist straff, leichter Körper, markante Säure, wirkt lebendig, nicht enorm komplex, zeigt aber Charme und viel Trinkfluss. Das macht richtig Spass, kommt nicht die Vielschichtigkeit eines grossen Jahres heran, doch das tut den Genuss in diesem Fall nicht mindern. Ein ehrlicher, im Kontext seines Alters erstaunlich frischer Pinot. Endet mittellang auf Sauerkirschen und Leder. Trinken, 18.5 vvPunkte (92/100). vvWine.ch

  This one should get it's affairs in order - quickly; somewhat oxidized on the nose (4 bottles opned on the night, vastly different), still some sous bois and a dark manly fruit, but unexciting for what it is. The label isthe most appealing thing here. Drink up, fast. #KrounSkodsborg

  Very nice wine that pretty quickly faded as the evening went on. It started out beautiful on the nose and palate and showed very well for about 30 minutes then started fading. Drink up.
