  • Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 6 hours. Seemed to be good to go after about the 2 hour mark. A lighter weight style, but surprisingly has a lot to offer in nose complexity. Medium aromatic intensity, offering up equal parts red raspberry and mineral elements that lets you know that this is a little bit more than just a garden variety, grocery store-type selection. Feel good about serving by the half-case at any party, as you are sure to get you rave reviews from the casual wine drinker and, more importantly, nods of approval from the most discerning wine critic in the group Drink now, as any more age will just result in a more watered-down version of what is a very respectable juice right now.

  • I didn't expect much from this one to be honest. Opened out of curiosity and turned out to be quite an experience. Still shows a bright, youthful nose full of bright black raspberry fruits, delicate spices, and a toasted coconut characteristic. The palate isn't as fresh, but is showing some complexity of truffle, wet dirt, dried red currant, and a nice spiciness. Slight bitter herbal edge offsets the fruit. Great acidity keeps it alive. Very impressive to see that this is showing the way it is.
