  • Really great acidity and balance. Less sweet than I thought it would be. Almost dry at this point. In a great spot.

  • Pretty awesome wine, particularly for the price. A lot like a good quality Auslese - I don’t know that I could tell the difference blind. Good with dessert, on its own or anything in between.

I was inspired to pull it out after the featured it on the pairing menu in one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to (L’Ousteau de Baumaniere in Provence).

Golden color with quite a prominent aroma of yellow apple, lemon, cut grass, flint and honeysuckle.

Similar flavors. Medium sweet but perfectly balanced by bright acidity and very nice minerality. Fairly large body (for a white) and a good long finish.

  • sucres 52,2 g/l et acidité 4,2 g/l

Robe : Jaune clair, scintillant.
    Excellent

  • Probably time to drink up, at least with this bottle. There’s definitely elements of dried, sherried fruits, nuts, apricots, peach, and honey. Some florals on the nose and a viscous, waxy mouthful. Still enjoyable but definitely some sherry-like elements creeping in, which won’t be for everyone.

  • Lanolin, petrol, apricotpie, honey, blonde tobacco, some interesting vegetal and metallic flavors.
Mature, medium sweetness on the palate, off-dry finish.
    Drink now.
