Rich and ripe with honey note, burnt sugar, caramel and yellow fruit on the nose. The acidity bursted out in the glass with aeration. The depth and intensity were truly impressive. Lots of layers. Got lucky with this Lafon tonight. 94-95

Just such a big wine needing decanting. Improved through the night with honey, caramel and walnuts. Such intense and complex flavours.
