Acker "Paulee" Burgundy Dinner (Capital Seafood - Beverly Hills CA): Paulée style dinner. Massive spice box with mature red fruits, all in a seamless and harmonious package. So great tonight.

From start to finish and by start we mean by the first look of the bottle that pre opening moments are enough to drive excitement given what one dreams that will follow. And that’s why it’s so difficult to rate .
The wine delivers though through all this, rich light rose, cherries and actually feels still very much on the stronger side of things and could well be young. Rich but utterly effortlessly balanced fruit, very light secondary feel, a bit smoky too. The persistence of flavour of this wine is what we will ever remember though as albeit is not strong or muscular it stays , it just refuses to leave you. 98,99,100 numbers mean no this for the experience this wines delivers.

This has a lightly toasted nose, with a hint of vanilla, hawthorn, cranberry, and raspberry. Quite seductive in a mysterious way.
The multi-dimensional and noble-like palate is composed of dried roses, blackberries, and sous bois with just the right amount of sweetness.
Pure and noble-like.

This bottle was a bit on the mature side. There was a bit of funk on the nose which eventually blew off. Had broad , rich flavors with quite a bit of secondary flavors. Lots of earth and spice in this bottle. excellent, but not as good as this wine could be.
