Dark crimson color. Aromas of garrigue, black raspberry, pepper and clove. Flavors of black raspberry and black cherry with a peppery finish. A pleasant weeknight quaffer.

Not bad with dinner, but not hitting all the notes. Missing fruit and mid palate make it a bit weak. Too bad because the ground work is there, but it doesn't deliver the full experience. Drink up.

medium maroon color, almost leaning toward brown. strong roasted figs on the nose and palate with notes of currants, spice and earth. medium body, semi-smooth tannins. nice finish. not as complex as i was anticipating but the richness of the fig flavors made it a good wine.
