First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): Served blind. Savoury, leather, wet blackcurrant, cedar, pencil shavings, old armchair...in the mouth it has juicy acidity that is quite fresh, savoury spices, blackcurrant, pencil shavings, leathery tannins. This was my other wine in the tasting.

From Coravin. Aromas of leather, autumn leaves, blackcurrant and brambles, sweet spice and a little polished oak, a little red currant. Juicy acid, grippy tight tannins are a little large for the dark fruit core but this is very nice and in good nick.

Same bottle as Otto. Decent claret punching aboove its weight. mature, slightly truffley, gamey aromas on top of the blackcurrant fruit. Served blind I thought this was somewhere in the Medoc/Haut Medoc but didn't pin it down further. Not the longest or the most complex but very decent and great vfm if bought on release. ***
