  MAGNUM Vintage Port (CUT restaurant Beverly Hills): Out of magnum. Third wine of the flight. Tasty, good palate feel on the finish.

  This wine got a hard pass coming on the same day as the 1994 Taylor's for me. It still drinks well, and had a lovely flavor, but lacked the complexity of the former. The biggest area where this stood out was just how light in color it was. This may be past peak--at least in the bottle we drank from

  Was really worried as we opened this. The cork was SOAKED. Came out in 3 pieces and the rest pushed into the bottle. Decanted into another bottle and seemed light amber in color. I was worried that it had turned bad. HUGE aromas of black fruit red fruit, leather, spice, toffee, nuttiness and plum aromas. Similar flavors with the black and red fruits dominating, plus plum, toffee, nuttiness showing up. Long silky finish. Impactable balance. One of my best wines of the year.

  Delicate pink/tawny colour, fruit fading to gentle mellow flavours, delicate spices swirl around the palate, which finishes warm (without excessive heat) and very long. A good bottle, doubt this would have improved but also no rush.
