  • Can confirm with a few other reviewers here, there is no rush to open these.

1 hour decant, it was open right out of the gate. Dark raspberry, wilting rose petals, a little tar and well rounded baking spice as well. Very deep and complex wine.

Tannins were cranked up on this bottle, and the acids were still lively and fresh. This bottle had it all. perhaps just missing a little concentration and a long finish, but very difficult to critique.

  • - Truly handcrafted, somewhat wild nose of intense wild berries, needles, forest, nougat, slightly tertiary aromas. There is an underlying liveliness and freshness, as well as minerality.
    - On the palate, we have a sharp acidity that makes drinking so much fun. The aromas have a slight tendency towards green or animal aromas, which I don't like very much today. It's really handmade juice and that makes it special.
    - No stress at all to drink this vintage b'cause it ill get more complex and balanced with time.

  • La Paulee, only brief impressions. My wine of the night. Lots of substance, intense and expressive packed with layers of fresh red and dark berries, some roasted and reduction notes, minerality, sous bois. An elegant, harmonious creature with lots of finesse.

  • Decanted for 60 minutes. Super silky, long, excellent quality. Drinking very well (open for business), but I would wait 5 years since terciary aromas and flavors are just now starting to make themselves present.

  • Decanted briefly. Full-bodied and balanced wine with mature red cherry and black raspberry, fine-grained earth, and gaining vigor in the long finish. I think this has plenty of life left as it's full of fruit and stuffing still.
