Popped and poured. Medium-bodied wine that is lemon yellow in color. On the nose, beeswax, pears, and very light toast. On the palate, honey, marmalade, nutmeg, and lightly buttered oak. Nice balance, thick mouthfeel, and a great combination of fruit and lively acidity. Drinking beautifully right now!

This has really gotten a lot better in the past year and a half. The oak has subsided and integrated really nicely. Buttery and minerally at the same time. Thick mouthfeel. Not stellar, not incredibly complex, but interesting and solid and enjoyable and I'm sorry its the last bottle because I think it might get even better. Ann has piped in with "this wine is really good." I agree.

For some reason, on a cold December night, Ann and I were both in the mood for something white. We drank this by itself after dinner. Not my style of chard, but enjoyable nonetheless. In fact, like it better this time than the first bottle we cracked a few months ago. Definitely oaked, which generally I dislike especially in chards, but this wine is rich and thick enough to deal with it. Tropical fruit and a nice tart finish.
