  Really fantastic wine. Opened up after decanting for an hour or so. Blackberry, cherry, leather. Terrific with our steak dinner.

  The cork crumbled and broke into dust. The wine appeared to be fine, filtered and double decanted for about 10 minutes.
  
  The wine is clear red, the body is medium plus, plenty of tannins and a little over the top acidity, at least way more than I was expecting. Possibly a longer decant would have help, not sure.
  
  This is a clear Napa Cab, a bit on the sweet side and red fruits taking the center stage. Not my favorite of the weekend but still a decent wine.

  Drinking well and showing its maturity as the color, body and fruit is mellowing and not as dynamic as in the past. Red fruited, with lively acidity, spiciness, herbs and cedar notes. Nicely balanced and nice finish. I would drink up as I see this starting to slip slide away. Agree with the "drink by 2022".
