  Stood upright for several days and decanted off the sediment. Decanting brought out darker red fruit and some game notes. Leaning a bit on the riper side but showing good balance and freshness. Not overly complex but impressive for almost 20 years old.

  Surprisingly lively in the glass for a Cali Syrah at this age. Great nose of flowers, minerals and white pepper on the finish. Fantastic Syrah for the price.

  Plenty of life left. A little tight to begin with but opened up nicely after an hour in the decanter. Very nice wine!
