  • No sign of oxidation. Excellent minerality and concentration. Unlikely to improve but not declining either.

  • Not oxidized. I have had a case since release with no problems (though a 2000 Criots Batard I have had since release was oxidized a couple years ago). Nose of roasted pear/apple with plenty of stony minerality and some notes of butterscotch, cream and oak-influence spice. Medium-bodied on the palate with reminiscent of apple pie with a medium-long mineral/cream finish. Down to my last couple of bottles and this is almost perfectly integrated at this point. Delicious.

  • Bottle is showing some degree of oxidation, particularly when I compare to my notes from 5 months ago. Color is normal. It was reasonably concentrated with good length when first opened, with just a slight hint of burnt match smell that worried me. An hour later, the wine is much flatter with no finish. Second oxidized 2002 Lamy in two days.
