Wine Ark - Clonakilla tasting with Tim Kirk (wine ark alexandria): Kerosene dominates slight apple and slime. Slight kerosene on the palate along with some front of mouth grip. It's still tart but less sourly so than the 2016. Having said the fruit is muted on the palate. You can see the continuity of vineyard characteristic next to the 2016. Hmm.

Clonakilla Dinner 2012 (Moon Under Water, Melbourne): Still very much a youthful wine. Intense, fruity nose. Lively dry palate with vibrant acid and fruit. No real signs of aging yet. Good length.

Clonakilla Vertical Dinner: Floral and lime aromas. Very well balanced, long and tight. Very good and much better than a previously tried bottle.

Lots of fresh fruit, citrus peel and floral notes. Slightly sweet palate, seemed to be a bit flat and uninteresting, especially compared to the nose.
