Noe overmodent, frukten fortsatt tilstede, men "fader" noe. Morsomt.

Surprisingly good for an off year. Typical Montrose with herbal and spice flavors evolving to mocha and chocolate. We popped and poured for fear this would close down quickly and it was very drinkable from the get go. Granted the fruit and tannins were subdued but a very pleasant surprise given the CT drinkability index suggested the window for this closed 11 years ago. Drank at gala family Christmas dinner with an '82 Brane-Cantenac and am '89 Haut Batailley representing the boy's birth years.

Quasi drinkable, but most was poured down the drain. Worth a shot for $10.

31 Vintages of Château Montrose: 1928-2010; 5/2/2015-5/3/2015: Weak fruit, green, unbalanced. Decent luncheon wine.
