What great fun to have followed this from beginning to end. Which is to say this is nearing the end of its preferred drinking window. Soft notes of nectarine, mineral, peach, seashell and nutmeg move effortlessly and elegantly from the nose to the palate. Still manages to pack a little punch once it's opened up (one hour). Really lovely and, sadly, the last of my 6 pack. Memorable and classy, which is to say I'm very happy with my purchase. 14,0% abv, drink thru 2014 (maybe longer if stored below 55F)

Vinturi to decanter, aerate 90 minutes, served at passive cellar temp. Consistent with my previous bottles, and with the trajectory this has suggested for some time now, the wine has really settled in, and offers generous layers of spicy orchard fruits with just a touch of citric. Pure, layered, elegant. Consumed over 2 hours and the last glass was the best (more to show as it warmed up). Drink thru 2014, 14,0% abv, score: A-

PnP served at cellar temp. Not too different than the bottle I had nearly 2 years ago. Fleshy orchard fruits, lovely spice and wet stone components. The acids are spot on. Most enjoyable. Drink thru 2014, 14,0% abv, score: A-

Pop n pour, could have benefited from a 1 hr decant. Straw colour. A touch of heat on the nose with profound aromas of peach, pear, white floral and river rock. Deeply layered with wave after wave of generous yet balanced flavors of stone fruits and tropical spice. The wine's ability to cleanly move the heft of the fruit with such elegance is a testament to the acid and fruit purity alike. Finish is nearly 45 seconds. One to savor. Drink thru 2014, approx $58.
