If ever proof were needed that the Rhone is where the great French roses are rather than Provence or Loire, this is the proof. Classy, elegant...almost "snooty" rose from a classy, elegant producer. Loads of strawberry with some rhubarb too. Very distinctive, and should be appreciated more.

Memorial Day Wine Party (My House): Very pretty rose made in a lighter style, pastel color with a mild strawberry nose, which is confirmed on the palate; an olivey, herby funk does indeed seem to linger in the background. Lovely, and so cheap.

Light and drinkable. Light strawberry on the front end, acid gives it some crispness, a green olive lingers on the finish. Primary take-away is the crispness, the acid really cleans the palate.

Excellent white for the bucks. Floral, nice subtle fruit with a nice crisp mid palate and finish.

Very pleasant rose. Not a lot on the nose and strawberry, watermelon and citrus on the palate. Probably better in warmer weather.
