Fill into neck. Excellent capsule and cork. Allowed to breathe in glass 30 minutes before tasting. Clear deep blood-garnet hue. Evolved bouquet of plums, brambly jammy boysenberries, fruit liqueur, tomatoes, meat juice, green tobacco, oak. Medium-full body, medium finish. Likely past-prime but still enjoyable. 44% Zin, 30% Carignane, 10% Petite sirah, 10% Sangiovese, 6% Mataro.

Drink now. Very nicely aged zin. It has 30% Carignane and some other varietals which help it keep smooth, long and very interesting. Probably better a year ago, but still very impressive.

Comes across as concentrated and very tasty. Straightforward Sirah and Zinfandel varietal characteristics dominate the flavors. The nose might have a nice hint of yeast or bread. Very much like a California interpretation of Italian country wine. Paired
