Tasted over two days. Dark ruby core with some bricking/brown around the rim.
Day 1- Pop and pour with a result of a less than optimal first hour. Tight and unforgiving on both the nose and palate. With some air, the nose is a straightforward American Pinot/ Red fruit with some spicy aromas. This is a full bodied Pinot Noir and the red fruit is out in front, and it really becomes rounder and weightier as it takes on air. The end of the first hour of air is when this really showed off texturally and boasted some structure. As the wine warmed and breathed, the red fruit really began to show off some sweet strawberry characteristics, but the finish lingered with more of a tart component. Will look forward to checking back tomorrow.
Day 2- The nose is showing more of a clove/spice character now. The palate has integrated beautifully. The fruit is still present, but has mellowed a bit allowing some earthy components to show through. Much more acidic today as well. Tannins are softer and length remains.

I have loved every bottle of this wine. Wonderful acidity, bright red fruits, light but intense in it's flavors. I am looking for more. Better than the 06 Keefer.

Sort of sour on the palate initially but it opened nicely after 30 minutes. Very nice finish, nice acidity, alcohol resolved and not noticeable. Good pinot.

Really nice pinot with lots of wild berry and cherry on the nose. soft on the palate and well rounded though not tremendously complex. Nice moderate length on finsh.

This wine never opened up after decanting. The nose was muted and the palate was somewhat one dimensional tasting of sour cherries.
