Decanted and drank over two days. Nice nose. Brownish dark garnet color. Not as good as the recent vintages; at least not as enjoyable: The first day it felt almost chewable and pretty disjointed w/o much fruit coming thru, so we kept the 1/2 bottle refrigerated for next day. The second day it was better, but again not revealing the pure richness and enjoyment of the 2005 or 2006 vintages. I will consider my remaining bottles as 'steak wine' rather than 'let's sip this and ooh & aah for a few hours wine' :)

This wine just screams a big steak. This wine shows blackberry, lavender, cassis, and sweet chunky tannins that are well integrated. Could even use more bottle age as this wine is still a couple of years away from its peak. It seems as if there is a little cab sauv in this blend...maybe I am wrong.

14% alc...Not as deep in color or as purple for that matter as Clos Erasmus...primary nose of spice, exhuberant red fruit, and that port-ish aroma I have come to expect in my younger Priorat experiences...fairly chunky with mouth-gripping tannins, prune-port like, interesting herb experience, and a little something like tar - dry wine without any of the fat/round mouthfeel yet, if ever?...good, but at $30 there are other wines from Spain that garner more attention.
