(J.L. Chave Sélection St. Joseph Offerus) Medium cherry red color; big, vaulting, anise, berry, plum nose with lots of green herb and sage; tart red fruit, tart cherry, tight, bay laurel, tobacco palate, but not as interesting on palate as on nose, and thin; medium finish 87+ pts.

Black pepper, cured meat, leather, iron, blood, hoisin, olive, plum, blueberry. Med plus garnet. Medium bodied. Medium plus acidity. Medium length. I’m craving lamb burgers.
