Alas last bottle of a case and definitely the best. The animal has yielded to elegance and the heavy monster is showing some transparency(!!) Raspberry, lavandar, a bit of soy, and many many layers of spices mingling with autumnal scenery. My last bottle, but no question it will last many more years, for those lucky ones with more bottles left. Cheers,
A delicious wine for a cold winter's night with a big snow storm heading our way! This is plenty ripe and brings us the snow from 15 years ago. Most reviewers liked this, and I can't find fault with their comments, but caution with food pairing - too much acidity brings put a rot note in the wine. Overall, pleasing.
Beside the Da Capo of the same vintage I paid less attention to this wine, so just limited notes. Beautiful bouquet with a lot of garrigue. On the palate garrigue, sweetness, good acidity and soft tannin. Still very much alive and a great pleasure as well.
