  • This was a pleasant surprise, a bottle 4 years ago seemed to be fading, this one was going strong ....this bottle showed an expressive nose, mostly resolved tannin, some blue fruit as well as more savory character. More mellow than when young, and more interesting

  • Big dark fruits with some subtle pepper on the nose. The palate was rich and smooth with more dark flavors. More complex than my last taste and still has some time to go

  • Last of 4 bottles purchase in 2010 from Wine Access.

Cork broke so had to pour into a decanter. Great nose - meat, saline, blackberry, blueberry (only with airtime) and floral undertones.

On palate, medium+ body, medium+ acidity, integrated tannins and long finish. Flavor profile was blackberry, dried cherry & tobacco. Very enjoyable and this wine has aged extremely well. 93+/-

  • This bottle was pleasant, with fruit less intense from time, but no significant bottle bouquet or development of tertiary flavors. It seems to be fading rather than blooming. Bottles 2 1/2 and 3 years ago showed more verve and interest. 88ish (past bottles up to 94ish)
