Ten years old and hangin' on for dear life...as it were...started the nite out a shrinking violet...wuh? you wanna drink lil ol' me??? After 45 minutes, older bro came struttin' out for the pahtay...some fruit still lingering around, tannins are all but gone, and essentially it's on its last legs, I fear. Nice, mellow Cab.

($12) Ripe nose of cedar, cigar box, raked leaves, and olives. Rich, with good concentration and lots of interest. Somewhat acidic and short but quite tasty for the money.

($10) Fairly dense, with a nose of toasty oak, cedar, vanilla and blueberry. Ripe with good concentration. Somewhat simple and may have a bit too much acidity, particularly in the finish where the flavor drops off and the texture becomes rough. Good QPR at this price.

Loved this bottle when it was younger; however, the fruit just did not hold up over time. My bad.
