Dark ruby purple with lightening around the edges. Classic aromas of dried prunes, black cherry, baking spice, leather and cedar. A very silky and restrained palate shows ripe, semisweet black/purple fruit leather, medium acidity, resolved tannins and a long mineral and spicy finish.

Pale, bricking, garnet colour. Aromatic, dried berry, fig, leather, caramel, and cocoa nose with a mineral note. Medium-sweet, warming palate with alive acidity and evolved sweet, dried fruit flavours; hints at more earthy mineral on the finish.
Sampled from 375mL bottle.

An elegant, well-balanced port that is drinking well. Probably has years of evolution ahead of it so there is no need to rush. I would not be surprised to see this wine meriting a score in the upper 90's several years from now.

Got this one right back in 2019 - port-lite. Tasty, however.
