  Good red. Consistent with most folks' notes. Claret style. Surprisingly great provenance on this bottle. Ex-cellar 2018. The Cab Franc really shines through with its red fruit domination. Merlot is in the background with just enough body to make it appealing.

  Nice, easy drinking wine with fruit and jam. Strong tannins on finish. Some sediment made it a little muddy at the end of the bottle, even with decant.

  Mediocre. 2005 was a phenomenal vintage in Bordeaux, which is why I bought it. Then I remembered the old saying, “better a better chateau in a poorer vintage than a poorer chateau in a better vintage”. Well, you get my drift.
