  This is the "Porrera", and there is a photo of black slates in the top quarter of the label, but the actual words "black slate" do not appear on said label.
  
  14% alcohol. Good long dense cork with no wine penetration. Medium colour.
  The nose is very pretty with a touch of (unproblematic) volatile acidity underlying some fairly decadent pot pourri aromas. Captivating in the same way as Emmanuel Reynaud's wines. The mouth is equally good, with little enough volume but great intensity and blackberry liqueur; high-pitched without being acidic.
  A pretty unusual balance, but a very interesting one. No protruding oak.
  I had this slightly cool, and I think that it was to the wine's advantage.
  A repeat purchase.

  Great Priorate nose. Licorella, wet stones, minerals. Nicely developed and at its peak. Very elegant. Drink it now or within a year.

  Ready now. Perfect slightly chilled with paella. No reason to hold further.
