  • Very sweet, candied profile of red fruits with no structure. It was a simple drink that did not appeal to my wife or me; however, it would be a good introduction to a novice white wine drinker who wanted to try a red.

  • Fun little bottle...borderline rose in color, super funky nose on opening it (my gf thought it was disgusting) but with some time this mostly blew off. Sweet, candied red fruits, very chunky with bits of fruit and sediment, short finish. Agree that it is something of a half-juice, half-wine, concoction, but i enjoyed it for the fruit and light body. Could be nice with a bit of a chill as an afternoon quaffer.

  • We drank the first bottle of this wine when it arrived several months ago. At the time I was not sure if the wine was even worth the nine dollars cost. The nose was interesting but the flavor had a funny thin fruit mix which quickly vanished. Today the second bottle was a completely different experience. The nose is meaty some ripe mix of red summer fruits. The taste fills the mid palate with spice and fruit with a nice finish. Although the alcohol level is 15%, you would never guess without looking at the label because of the excellent balance and solid structure. There is absolutely no heat on the finish. This is not a great wine but a very good wine and it is an excellent value. We enjoyed it so much that we will probably include it with one of the wines for Thanksgiving.

  • A musty cranberry nose with good structure and nice acidity. This would go well with a cold Ahi sandwich for lunch.

  • Not as light a rose color as I was led to expect, but none the less a light ruby red color that does lead one to think of a first press wine. Meaty nose backed by ripe fruit and an easy entry on the palate. That's were the fairy tale turns into a short novella of substance as the mid palate and finish has enough of a plot to get your attention and actually has a little hang time on the tales end. For nine bucks, a very entertaining wine.
