Opened this bottle at Crab at Bay to celebrate my MIL's birthday with my family over lunch. We had cockles, fried fish skin with kai lan, har cheong gai, fried rice, prawn rolls, deep fried soon hock, fried sweet potatoes leaves with salted fish, fried pork cutlet, fried kway teow with chai po, chili crab with fried buns, and crab with fried been hoon.
Pale cream in colour with a nice effervescence. Sweet nectar-like nose coupled with a beautiful bouquet. On the palate the wine is lush and floods the drinker with a sense of sensuality, relax-ness, and delight. Sufficient sugar to provide sweetness without being cloggy or draggy.
Time seems to slow down when sipping on this wine. Not the most well crafted Moscato d'Asti tasted, but this is really good value for money.

Italian Wine Scholar Class @ Texas Wine School. Med straw, w/ vigorous perlage which dissipates quickly. Fragrant, ripe yellow apple, white peach, tangerine, white blossoms, cantaloupe. Sweet but not cloying, nicely balanced by the med+ acidity & bubbles. The low (7.5%) alcohol & bubbles give it a pleasant ethereal lightness, w/ med to med+ intensity & length. Very approachable and meant to be drunk now, it pairs well w/ vanilla cake or fruit pies or as a contrast to salty antipasti.

A good sparkling wine. It is quite sweet but in a good way. Goes well with appetisers.
