Opens to an earthy bouquet of black cherries, licorice, sous bois, garrigue, wet decay, and a whiff of port. Dry and spicy in the mouth, almost reticent, but it gradually opened up to a bright and energetic wine, with succulent black raspberries atop shapely complexity and lip-smacking acidity. Very good length and finesse on the tasty finish.

Drinking nicely, good black currants, blackberry, spice, leather, tobacco, well integrated tannins, finishes well

ORANGE ON THE EDGE. DEEP FRUIT, CURRENTS AND PLUMS, AND CHOCOLATE IN THE NOSE. RICH FRUIT AND LICORICE IN THE FLAVOR. LONG FINISH.
