Beautiful and rustic bouquet with herbs and spices. On the palate juicy red berries, fresh acidity and some chocolate. Beautiful and mature wine wit still great freshness. Drink it over the next 2 – 3 years.

Drank from Mag. Deep bright color. Yes, showed fizz for about the first hour. Blackberry, currants with some hints of mushroom and leather on the finish. Soft tannins still going. Balanced with moderate finish, Not Beaucastel but enjoyable. Happy to have one more Mag. Maybe in 3-4 years.

Strange experience with this one. Consumed over several days. On day one, even after a few hours of decanting, this wine was rough around the edges. The fruit is there, but there is was certain roughness that was hard to get past. Much improved on day 3! The rough edges are gone and a very nice fruit presence comes through, mostly blackberries and cranberries. Some dried herbs and kahlua on the finish. Still not great. Maybe over the hill as others have noted.

Color looked okay. Seemed tart, and a couple of people thought(not I) maybe slightly effervescent. Over the hill.
