Winorama: A winter in Wineland III; 1/4/2019-1/13/2019 (Portland/Willamette, Eureka, Napa): Opened and decanted and poured and drank fairly quickly. This was quite lovely, but if I could do it all over again I'd probably would have given this a bit more time to open up. It was a touch tight. Oak well integrated now. Fruit still there. While I think it's in a good place to drink, there's really no rush. This was still almost young tasting. Special wine.

End-of-Summer Dinner Featuring Vega-Sicilia Único (Asador Bastian - Chicago IL): In an Unico flight. Fun and interesting but lacking the freshness of the older vintage bottles of Unico in the flight. Faded in glass.

The least expressive in the flight with 64 and 70, but that's really not a fair comparison. Lovely spice and herb complexity and still so youthful.

Good looking bottle, mid-neck fill. Color of root beer, oxidized, thin, no fruit. A damaged bottle.
