Skeptical from other notes but this was an excellent showing. Has really held up for the vintage of being so forward. Cola, Oregon dirt and cranberry/cherry jump out of the glass on the nose. The palate matches except the cola. Bright acidity carries everything through for 20ish seconds. The velvet stage I'm afraid was a year ago but everything is almost in harmony. The acid however will take over soon. At a very good last stage but don't leave the bottle open too long as the 92 only lasts for about an hour :)

Some sois bois, plum and black cherry on the nose of this deep garnet coloured wine. Medium bodied palate with plums, dark berries, a little dark chocolate but more dominated by secondary, earthy notes. Little bit of silky tannins and med- acidity. Definitely a wine that should be drunk now, not sure it has the fruit and tanning to go more than a couple of years and may be past the point that some people like their pinots.

An elegant wine we served with White grilled king salmon. Well balanced, mellow tannins smooth finish. A little charcoal at first leading to mineral or sulphur and ripe plum. A very enjoyable dinner wine.

Ruby, nose of damp leaves, red fruits. Dry, fruity, tart tannins on the PnP. Licorice, bold body, tart berries, earth with a metallic mineral. Medium fruit and body, nicely balanced with acid maintaining a freshness of the fruit, soft tannins on the finish. Starting to turn a little flabby the next day. This needs to be consumed when opened, not enough acid and tannins for sitting on the counter. Enjoy right away.

Solid, lush pinot. Less interesting than the 07 but still good.
