  • Drank this too young and too chilled to fairly rate. Dark purple/black in color with plum and earth on a subdued nose. A huge wine that overwhelmed my palate. Lots of earth and minerals with some blackberry. Not tannic, but needs several more years to soften and allow fruit and complexity to show. Could be great some day, but a waste to drink at the moment. If you have to, give it a several hour decant.

  • Dark hued crimson. Nose is very sweet and ripe, like damson plums, with spicy notes, brioche. Yet surpringly dry: intensely flavorful but rich and long. A great Syrah. Still very young...
