  This was a revelation. Found it in the cellar and thought I better drink it up. It was delish. Drinking well, but will go longer. Good nose but better on the palate. Red fruit, integrated tannins and good acidity, and some complexity. Had it over two nights and it was good on both.

  This was so much more composed, concentrated and stately compared to the others I've had; there is clearly significant bottle variation with this wine. This was pretty serious; spicecake, fruitcake, marzipan and black pepper. This was quite a treat and no sign of the twangy waywardness I found in some other bottles. A nicely bottled example like this will benefit from two or three more years of bottle age.
