K&L Spring Champagne Tasting (K&L Hollywood): Very pale straw in color. Richer still than the Marguet and Launois that preceded it. Citrus on the nose and some nutty notes. Soft, fluffy mousse. Hint of tang on the finish, which is refreshing but shows a litle pepper/heat.
DRY, big yeast and mineral, maybe a touch of almond, hint of citrus. This has got a serious backbone, and decent acidity, but is not really my style. Let the other bottle sit a couple years, This may mellow into my wheelhouse.
