Saturday late night drinks at home. ~10 year bottle age. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Thin legs. Fine bubbles fading after a while. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of white flowers, wet stones minerals, fresh water lake. Developed. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), sleek medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of light honey drizzle, clean light citrus fruit, white flowers, clean cool fresh water, pebbly stones minerality. Medium+ finish. Very good quality. Nicely bottle aged BdB. Captured at just the right moment in time, showcasing its crystalline qualities.

Clear straw yellow color with scant ultra-fine bubbles. Notes of quince, lemon, almond biscuit, chalk, apple blossom. Delicate, pure and delicious. Needed an hour to fully bloom in the glass, by which time the bubbles were mostly gone.

Tasted this at Misha's Vineyard Food and Wine Pairing Dinner organised by That Wine Place. The Speaker of the evening was Ms Misha Wilkinson.
Clear, gold in colour. Crisp, clean with astonishing and refreshing finish. Burst of flavours, including green apples, unripe mangoes and starfruits.
My first experience with this label. Quite impressed, and looking forward to tasting the rest of the portfolio.

What Champagne should look like. More on the wine. Less on the bubbles.
