  Vermelho rubi, escuro e bastante fechado. Guarda algum brilho. Nariz de intensidade média. Notas de frutas negras maduras. Tabaco, lápis e jasmim seco formam camadas tênues de aromas muito agradáveis. Em boca é muito envolvente. Ataque amplo. As frutas negras se confirmam. Notas vegetais/florais formam um conjunto harmonioso. Álcool integrado. Final médio. Aparenta estar em seu melhor momento.

  Coravin tasting. Certainly ready but nice balance of youthfullness (still a touch tannic and somewhat reticent) but with hints of maturity too, more oxygen than anything (maybe a mediocre cork). Red to dark fruit (cassis and cherry) and a hint of coconut. Good for a petit chateau with 12 years bottle age.

  Nose: Cedar, blackberry, rhubarb. Bit musty at first but that faded. Medium-bodied with smooth but drying tannins. Midpalate somewhat more rewarding than my last taste: Blackberry, sloe, bubblegum, lavender perfume. Tasty, shortish on initial opening but got longer as the evening wore on. Finally, a heather blossom note through the attack and midpalate - very nice (if not entirely at ease with the astringent finish).
