Pronounced nose intensity with notes of pencil lead, vanilla, mint, blackfruits, cassis. Well balanced palate of acidity and tannin. Medium+ acidity and medium+ tannin. The mouthfeel is smooth and integrated. Round tannin. Drinking well now. Decanted for 2 hours. In its peak windowing now.

Intense, rich, modern, cult style St. Emilion. There is notable bottle age, but the wine displays massive tannins clout, huge VA, intense sur maturite notes, and vivid fresh thyme notes. What is stunning about this wine is the fact that while crafted in an almost Napa cult style, the tannins feel true to its Bordeaux terroir. Thick and burley, but nuanced.

Plums, ripe blackberry, black currant, cassis, very fruitful nose, jammy, hints of leather and cinnamon; powerful, monolithic, forceful, but pure and refined nevertheless; very fruit forward but not entirely over the top; not my preferred style but very good

Pitch dark color. In the nose dense figs and plums with alcohol shining through. Medium+ acidity, fantastic palate with plums, blackberries, figs, cigar box - complex, dense, layered, with pencil shavings from the Cabernet Franc coming through. The ending shows white pepper and aromatic wood, with grippy tannins and it goes on and on for a long while. 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is in a great spot and will likely improve in a few years. Excellent.
