Received in a Bounty Hunter shipment a number of years ago. Dark purple, opened about 45 minutes before serving, a nice bottle, currant and vanilla notes, goos structure provided by tannins without being instructive, moderate finish, modest amount of sediment

Holy smokes but this is terrific. I'd had her Big Pour and wasn't impressed but this is a different animal. Medium weight but complex -- takes a while to open up, and when it does, the finish goes on for miles. Still has tannic grip on Day Three, believe it or not. Outstanding value. Definitely decant for sediment.

Given the price, this wine is well below what one should expect. The nose has aromas of plums and a bit of earth, complicated later by some unpleasant burnt aromas. Smooth and agreeable on the palate. Maybe too smooth & agreeable. Light tannins and acids. It's an OK wine, for sure, but very far from what its price and hype might lead you to expect. If you are ever in a Flemings Steak House, I suggest avoiding this wine. There are lots of better ones on the menu.

Not sure why this wine was rated so low. Mild tannins and lots of deep flavor. Solid cab.
