Vague rose aromas. After a few hours starts to open up and the nose gathers more strength displaying fruit as well. A very light wine which suffers from lack of concentration and structure. Tannins dominate. Cellaring and decanting may help.
This is a really beautiful Barbaresco for a reasonable price. The nose and palate are full of tar and roses, with a soft, woody finish. This drinks well now, with decanting and a second day, but will age well.
