P/Pw/1-2 hour decant. Clear w/very minor/fine bottom sediments. Med purple/garnet color. Good proper Zin nose. The wine showed excellent balance/integration, light/med in body/intensity. Pleasant, nothing off, rather soft/rounded, short finish. Not a sharp wine at this point due to age. Drink now. $35.
My last of three and certainly the best bottle. Inky in color. Expressive nose. Beautiful fruit, spice, earthy, and meaty with more complexity and depth than most zin. This bottle was certainly at the pinnacle of its drinking window. Delicious!
Very nice. Medium-bright red fruit (think a dark, ripe bing in contrast to a Ranier), though with a notable heat on the nose. Nice spicey, peppery mouthfeel with the expected fruit, but with a bit more depth than the typical zin. Not much of a finish. Quite enjoyable.
