First bottle from case. PnP. Golden yellow color, upon opening there are some oxidative notes which however blow away within 10 minutes or so. Complex wine, on the nose straw and grass flavors with citrus, medium oiliness on the palate but not overly rich as it's balanced nicely with good acidity, white flowers, minerals, oak quite well integrated already, something like almonds as well. Nice length. If anything this lacks a bit the aromatic concentration of an outstanding white. No need to wait longer but can also see how well stored bottles could last for another decade or so. Excellent QPR. 92-93
Whites from France and Spain: It was all about wax, honey and figs. Very round and pleasantly smoky-oaky feel to this wine. Rich but well defined, there's also lemon and lime element that balances the fatness of the wine. Pleasant as a melting ice-cream, excellent and probably my WOTN.
