This one has held up over time. Full mouth feel. Deep fruit forward flavors. Dark cherry and raspberry are prominent, even at the finish. Well balanced and smooth with a hint of acidity.

This relatively full-bodied pinot has aged in the cellar nicely and definitely was at or near peak. Aromas of spice, raspberry. Both red and dark fruit on the palate with some earthiness and even savory characteristics. Was perfect wine for our Thanksgiving meal as it pleased roast turkey lovers but also paired nicely with (and stood up to) those who elected filet mignon with roasted mushrooms. Probably could go longer in the cellar than some have recommended but my guess is now is the time. Very enjoyable wine.

Dark garnet, slight fade at rim. Very expressive nose of raspberry and cherry backed up with vanilla, pepper and allspice. Medium to full body, this has wonderful balance of fruit with tannin and acidity. An earthiness comes through on the long finish. Silky mouth feel, this is the iron fist in the velvet glove. Classic Pinot style, and becoming rarer among many Central Coast Pinots pursuing the Syrah-lovers style. Great value.

Typical SB Pinot. Ticker and fuller than most.
