Deep rich color, this is at the top of its form. Integrated flavors, spice on palate and nose, I pegged this as Zin blind, but as a much younger wine. Glides over the palate. Excellent.

Brought to Jimsomare dinner at Anaheim White House. Red fruit, spicy and good acidity (which all the Zins showed from 1970 on). Still a bit one-dimensional, but this has time to go.

Jimsomare Vertical at The White House (The White House, Anaheim, CA): Big nose showing baked fruits, ripeness and wet paint like I notice on very young wines occasionally. Rich and chunky, plenty of acid and tannin. Juicy but clearly in need of time. I think this has good potential. Would recommend leaving to sleep or a good decant.

Over the hill. Cedar, not much fruit, light body, a little funk.

Mild. Not as rich, are full body as I would have expected. Still some signs of youth. Dark fruit, tanin acid, tobacco. 89
