  • Like another reviewer said. Not bad but there's lots better Pinot out there at similar prices.

  • I can't rate this wine as it was drunk too late in the night, but memory does tell me that this was smooooth, on the cherry/strawberry side, pretty sweet, and not that earthy or complex. I agree with another reviewer: concentration is an issue. Not a lot of depth. A good wine to lure any Merlot drinking friends a step in your direction, but there are so many better Pinots out there.

  • 2005 Fall Vendors Sale (Tokyo American Club): Great nose with dry red fruit and earth. A bit dilute on palate with lightly sour cherry fruit and a little sweeter red berry component and some nice mineral on the finish. Good acid and earth/mineral components are appealing, but concentration seems to be a real issue. I got into a conversation with a friend while this was in the glass, so I was able to come back to it after fifteen minutes. It had picked up a little weight, but was still, perhaps, a little thin.

  • Initial currants and cherries on the nose, palate bursting with concentrated fruit and tartness like a Now-&-Later. Tartness uniquely up-front and integrated with fruit, lots of black and sour cherries and some strawberry and salinity, very smoth and silky, medium body. With time the tartness evolved into a more traditional acidity.
